Rethabile Witkoei is deputy director for land use management at the Midvaal Local Municipality, focusing on municipal planning and development. Previously she was a spatial strategist at FNB, working on the efficient placement of the bank's branch network.
Witkoei also worked as a town planner for both Eskom and the Rand West Local Municiapility. She completed her undegraduate studies at the University of Johannesburg with a degree in Town and Regional Planning in 2011, thereafter obtaining her Masters Degree at the University of Pretoria.
