Tax Consultant

An accounting firm in Knysna is looking for a tax consultant to join their team.

The candidate will work closely with the tax team under the guidance of the tax manager and tax administrator.

Requirements:

Experience in tax and accounting will be beneficial
Relevant qualification in tax or accounting
Strong interpersonal skills
Good administration skills
Attention to detail
Numeracy skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Team player

Responsibilities:

Preparation of income tax returns (for individuals, companies, trusts)
Assist with tax administration
Preparation of tax calculations
Preparation of VAT and EMP201 returns
Provide assistance with SARS objections/disputes/verifications
Tax Clearance applications.
SARS follow-ups and attending SARS appointments.
Dealing with clients and client queries.

Salary:
R12,000 - R20,000 depending on qualifications and experience
