As a WordPress website designer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites that align with our clients' goals and brand identity. You will work closely with our design and development team to ensure seamless integration of graphics, content, and interactive elements. In addition to web design, you will contribute to our print design projects, including annual reports, brochures, and other marketing materials.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a WordPress website designer with 10 years plus experience.
Proficiency in PHP programming and custom coding for WordPress.
Strong graphic design skills with experience in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience in print design, including the design and layout of annual reports, brochures, and corporate identity materials.
Knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
Familiarity with responsive design principles and best practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimisation.
Previous experience working with clients and managing projects.
